Date: November 6, 2010 Location: Fort Leavenworth; USD 207 Instructional Strategy Focus (Goal): Fostering Critical Thinking and Communication Skills Through Digital Storytelling Content Focus: Alignment to Veteran's Day / Stories of America's Heroes / primary source images and video footage from Discovery Education streaming Digital Tools: Discovery Education streaming, VoiceThread, Audacity, GarageBand, ZooBurst, FlipCameras (will need to make sure that VoiceThread, ZooBurst, and other Web 2.0 apps you want to use are not blocked) Expected Outcome: Teachers will participate in hands-on sessions that will give them the foundation to utilize the above mentioned tools and
